Affiliate Disclosure

What Is an Affiliate Relationship?

GrownDiamond.com participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that when you click certain links on our website and subsequently make a purchase from the linked retailer, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

Which Retailers We Have Relationships With

Our active affiliate partners are La Joya Jewelry (through the Awin network) and GOODSTONE (through CJ). For other retailers we review, some links are plain links that earn us nothing, and we may join more affiliate programs over time. Where a link is tracked, it goes through a /go/ address on this site, which is marked as sponsored. This list changes as relationships change; the date at the top of this page shows the last update.

How We Mark Affiliate Links

All outbound links to retailers on GrownDiamond.com use the HTML attributes rel="sponsored nofollow" as required by Google's webmaster guidelines. We also include the affiliate disclosure banner on all pages that contain affiliate links.

FTC Compliance

GrownDiamond.com complies with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines for endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255) and the FTC's Disclosure Guide. We disclose our material connection to advertisers as required.

How We Maintain Editorial Independence

Our reviews, rankings, and recommendations are based on public information and our own editorial judgment. We do not claim to have tested products we did not buy. We do not accept payment for positive reviews. We do not change our ratings or recommendations based on affiliate commission rates.

Specifically:

• No retailer has paid for a ranking or an editor's score
• Partners may be shown more prominently in "where to buy" sections, and we label them
• Our research methodology is documented on our About page
• Drawbacks (slower shipping, limited reviews, restrictive returns) are included in reviews
• We link to competing retailers within reviews when they offer advantages

No Extra Cost to You

Using our affiliate links does not increase the price you pay for any product. You pay the same price whether you click through from our site or go directly to the retailer.

Price Accuracy

Diamond prices fluctuate frequently. Prices on GrownDiamond.com may be out of date. Always check the retailer's current website for actual pricing.
